STATE DIPLOMA IN LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
The School of Nature and Landscape is a department of INSA Centre Val de Loire, under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
By decree dated April 8, 2016, INSA Centre Val de Loire was authorized to offer the program leading to the State Diploma in Landscape Architecture.
Another decree, dated April 19, 2016, granted the Master’s degree level to holders of the State Diploma in Landscape Architecture, starting with the 2019 graduating class.
Upon completion of the program, students are therefore awarded the State Diploma in Landscape Architecture (DEP) from INSA Centre Val de Loire, with the rank of Master’s degree.
The diploma is therefore composed of several parts, the main one being centered around the landscape project through the final study project (TFE), which includes:
- a preliminary jury review.
- a TFE dissertation.
- a public defense of the TFE before a jury composed of faculty, client representatives, professionals, and alumni.
Students develop their final study project (TFE), supervised by professors from the School of Nature and Landscape and professionals related to landscape issues.
This is supplemented by seminars including an introduction to research, stakeholder strategies in landscape projects, and professional structures.
Finally, a professional internship of at least three months is subject to a written report and an oral defense.
